The Event

On the morning of the 13th September 2008, we will all meet at the start of the walk, exact venue still to be confirmed. All participants will register on arrival and the walk will start between 9:00-9:30am.

The Location

The Cairngorms are located in the Eastern Scottish Highlands and they take in some of the most beautiful landscapes in Britain, from snowy mountain tops to ancient pine woods and glens. The National Park is also home to some rich Scottish wildlife including red deer, the golden eagle, capercaillie and even a herd of reindeer!

The Walk

The walk will take place in Glenmore , and will take up to eight hours to complete. The map below outlines the planned route marked in red-

There will also be a walk with disabled access so that people of all abilities can take part!
