The Cairngorms- Location for the '08 Thistle Challenge
The Thistle Challenge is an annual fund-raising event organised by Volunteering Highland* and Osprey Adventures, which is open to anyone who would like to raise funds for a charity or good cause of their choosing.
This year the Thistle Challenge is a sponsored walk taking place on the 13th September 2008 in the Beautiful Cairngorms.
Thanks to all those who took part in last years challenge in Glen Affric-it was a great success and funds were raised for over 20 different charities and organisations.We hope that this year we will attract even more participants and that more money can be raised!

Who can do it?
The Thistle Challenge walk is open to all, whether you are an experienced walker, or have never even tried anything like this before. There will be plenty of time to get trained and ready before the event and we are happy to give advice and support to anyone who needs it.
Why do it?
The brilliant thing about the Thistle Challenge is that you can choose the charity you want to walk for. Some might want to raise money for an organisation or charity that has helped them and their families. Others may use the walk to raise money for a community project. There are many options and if you need any ideas, we will be happy to help!
